Mortgage Loan Analyst – Australian Mortgage
Role & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end residential mortgage loan process, from application through settlement.

Review and assess borrower applications, financials, payslips, bank statements, tax returns and supporting documents.

Conduct credit assessment and serviceability analysis as per lender guidelines.

Verify income, employment, liabilities, assets and overall borrower position.

Prepare and submit loan applications to lenders accurately and within required TATs.

Liaise with mortgage brokers, lenders, BDMs, valuers and other stakeholders throughout the loan process.

Handle lender queries, conditions and document requirements until approval.

Monitor loan milestones including approval, valuation, documentation and settlement.

Ensure all applications meet Australian lending, compliance and responsible lending requirements.

Maintain accurate CRM/loan management system updates and follow up on outstanding documents.

Identify potential issues or gaps in applications and proactively resolve them.

Provide regular updates to brokers and ensure a smooth customer experience.

Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
Preferred Experience:
-
2–5+ years of experience in Australian Mortgage Processing / Credit / Loan Analysis.

Strong understanding of the Australian residential mortgage process.

Hands-on experience from loan application to settlement.

Knowledge of Australian lenders, loan products, credit policies and documentation.
-
Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
-
Experience with mortgage CRM/lending platforms is an advantage.
